How I support the practices...... 

I support the practices by running their weekly recalls (ensuring that their diaries are full and if not suggesting solutions on how to amend this). I also support the practices by providing answers via email or telephone to any issues they have whilst in practice. Being part of operations also entails ensuring new starters are added correctly and also leavers removed from Optix.

An interesting fact about me would be I enjoy walking my cat to Darwen Tower most Sunday mornings.

How I support the practices..........

I support the practices by dealing with queries relating to Compliance and Health & Safety. I am an Administrator for EcoOnline and first point of contact for Fire Risk Assessment and Clinical Record Audits queries.

My background is within the Optical sector, both within practice and in various regional roles.

A fact about me that’s not work related………..

I enjoy travel, in particular spending time visiting a family project aka ‘work in progress’ in a very rustic (remote) part of the Alpujarran mountains in the Sierra Nevada region of Spain.

How I support the practices...

My day-to-day work involves setting up the practices Optix database with things such as Diary templates, GP surgeries, professional fees, adding staff, contact lens pricing etc so that they’re ready for when we go out on the rollouts. I also do some general support work when required.

I love watching Football, especially my hometown club Grimsby. I am also learning to play the Guitar, I currently have 5 guitars in my ever growing collection.

I support the practices in number of ways. These Include sending out Weekly recalls, adding Frames/lenses onto Optix.

In my spare time I go watch Manchester united.

How I support the practices...

I make sure invoices sent to us by our practices are allocated to where they should be and complete the monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliation. I also help preparing the quarterly VAT returns.

I love to go hiking in my free time and I also love reading.

How I support the practices..........

I ensure that invoices are processed correctly and that the practices financial records are kept accurate and up-to-date. In addition to this, I process the transactions for the monthly accounts.

I’ve once ran a 5k in  under 20 mins. I also used to be terrified of old women when I was young because I thought witches ACTUALLY existed.

I work in our People team as a People Partner, we work closely with practices and buddies to advise and support with any people related issues. We focus on supporting on all aspects of the employee cycle, ensuring we are offering the best service we can to our practices.

I like to spend my weekends eating at new restaurants and going for walks.

I've worked within recruitment across both agency and in house for over 10 years. I’m passionate about partnering with my key stakeholders to drive our recruitment strategy forward to find, attract and recruit top talent.

Out of work, I’m kept busy with my two children spending time together outdoors. We holiday to Cornwall where possible to enjoy the beaches, walks and scenery. And the pubs...

How I support the practices.......

I work within the People services team and assist with Payroll when necessary. I am also responsible for making sure all your HQ expenses are checked and sent for processing every month! I work closely with practices & buddies to ensure all your issues and queries are settled. This could be anything from sending an offer of employment out, to answering questions further into your employment!

My favourite thing to do is travel! Last summer I spent 2 months travelling different islands in Greece and Spain! I love socialising, trying new restaurants and exploring the lakes.

How do I support the practices.........

I will assist your Practice Buddy to help make the transition into the HG Family as straightforward and constructive an experience as possible!

Alongside my Transition Buddy role, I am very familiar with GOS Compliance so in conjunction with the PAG team I will be on hand to support practices with any QiO Checklists, NHS Inspections etc if required.

I have been trying to complete some things of my bucket list in the last few years and last year I did the fastest Zipline in the world over the Penrhyn Quarry in Snowdonia reaching 100mph.

I am the Professional Advancement Manager. I look after the pre-registration students and their journey with us.  Developing and leading professional development programmes, to enable Hakim group to grow clinicians and help them be their best to provide the best clinical services to our patients.  Furthermore, inspire others to be advanced clinically from pre regs starting with the business to providing thought provoking CPD for our qualified Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians.  Organising our CPD events and ensuring all clinicians in the business have fun at the same time!

My favourite past time is travel, where I have survived numerous tornado touch downs and a very close rattle snake encounter!

I am always happy to talk about food and exercise regimes! There is an ongoing joke in my family that I was named after a football player – I wonder if you can guess which one?
